Relias Announces Partnership with Emergency Nurses Association

CARY, NC, March 7, 2018 – Relias, a trusted partner focused on reducing unintended variation for more than 7,000 clients around the world and across the continuum of healthcare, today announced a partnership with the Emergency Nurses Associations (ENA). The partnership allows ENA to provide input to existing Relias-developed courses, with the potential for collaboration on future courses as well.

“We’re excited to be an influential part of this comprehensive digital tool that provides education and insight designed to mitigate risk in the emergency department,” said ENA Executive Director Nancy MacRae, MS. “Relias ED will improve emergency nursing skill, improve hospital emergency department outcomes and manage hospital ED risk, furthering ENA’s mission to advocate for patient safety.”

Partnering with Relias on Relias ED (formerly GNOSIS for Emergency Medicine) provides an opportunity for ENA to provide emergency nursing education that will both elevate knowledge, skill, and critical thinking development, and serve as a tool to mitigate risk in the ED. Further, it will allow ENA to bring a new and innovative digital risk management tool to emergency departments to advance ENA’s mission to advocate for patient safety and excellence in emergency nursing practice.

The Emergency Nurses Association and Relias partnership combines ENA’s clinical expertise with Relias’ technical skill in developing advanced products and strong reach into the hospital market.

“Partnering with trusted and well-respected organizations such as ENA is part of our commitment to helping our clients get better,” explained Mark Belles, COO of Relias. “Their input, along with that of our on-staff clinicians, ensures that we will continue to provide best-in-class learning to go along with our analytics and assessments solutions.”
