Micro-Credentials for Direct Support Professionals

The National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) is offering a new, formal system for recognizing the knowledge and experience of DSPs. Through the NADSP E-Badge Academy, agencies can enable their DSPs to earn electronic badges based on their skills and training.

DSPs can use E-Badges to build professional portfolios and demonstrate their skills to agencies, colleagues, and those they support. At the organizational level, E-Badges are a way for agencies to recognize DSPs and create career ladders.
